Merely hours are left when Research in Motion or RIM as it is commonly known  will showcase its next generation operating system and some handsets running on the OS. Though right now the smart-phone market doesn’t really need any more mobile operating systems in the presence of Android and Apple iOS and the newly launched Windows Phone 8 from Microsoft, BlackBerry fans are expecting the operating system to make substantial improvement in the mobile OS and make it more competitive.

In the BlackBerry launch event we are going to be given good insight into the features of forthcoming BB 10 operating system. Though Research in Motion is not really expected to release its much talked about handset  BlackBerry Z10, nonetheless there are reasons to believe that we will be told in definite words as to when the handset will be introduced in the market. But there are many people who are expecting one or two handsets to be showcased during the event.

Whether or not Research in Motion launches or showcases its handsets during the event, its forthcoming smart-phones running on its BlackBerry 10 OS are going to give tough competition to present day market leaders especially to Apple, the manufacturers of iPhone brand of handsets and Galaxy S handsets from Korean tech giant Samsung that run on Android OS. Others like Nokia’s Lumia series of handsets powered by Windows Phone 8 OS may also be impacted if the OS and handsets are really very competitive.

A speculative report in PC Mag while the launch of Blackberry 10 device during its launch event says, “Looking at the different levels of leakage about the two devices, you have to come to the conclusion that the Z10 is ready to go and the X10 isn’t. Expect a near-term release date for the Z10 and something vaguer, like “Q2,” for the other phone”. But to be true, Research in Motion is not leaving much to imagination. It is showing what is set to come with its BlackBerry 10 and how its forthcoming smart-phones with new and all the improved BB10 operating system are not just going to take the threat of Apple’s iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note 2 head-on. To be true, RIM’s next generation handsets may not be huge like Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note 2, HTC’s One X or One X Plus, nonetheless it comes with 4.2 inch display size that is enough for most of the business users, backbone of RIM smart-phones who don’t have much time to play games or watch endless videos with their huge, tablet looking smart-phones. And to top it all BlackBerry 10 handsets are going to beat Apple iPhone 5’s Retina Display by a huge margin.

Ontario, Canada based Research in Motion’s much anticipated BlackBerry 10 Z10 handset will have at least as good specs as iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note 2. The new Z10 B10 handset will come with a very impressive 4.2-inch display with 1280 x 768 resolution with 356 PPI that leaves Apple’s iPhone 5’s retina display look like an old generation handset. iPhone 5 comes with 326 pixel per inch that was once a yardstick, but now Research in Motion is coming up with far improved display than even Retina display and that is going to help the RIM among the quality conscious executives across the world. Compared to it Galaxy S3 comes with 720 x 1280 pixels, 4.8 inches (306 ppi pixel density) display. So the forthcoming blackberry handset beats both the market leaders with huge margin.

It will come with enough power to make multi-tasking look the easiest thing in the world. Research in Motion handset will be power packed. The new Z10 BB10 handset comes packed with power. It will come with a dual core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4470 processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 for the US and Canada markets). Compared to it Apple’s iPhone 5 comes with A6 chip that Apple claims delivers a CPU two times faster than the A5 and several times better graphics. On the other hand Samsung Galaxy S III comes with their own quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos processor. Compared to Galaxy S3’s 1GB RAM, Z10 BB10 comes with 2 GB RAM that will make it faster than its competitors.8 mega pixel rear camera will keep it in competition in the market. Both Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 come with 8 mega pixel rear camera. So keep yourself ready to enjoy BlackBerry handsets that beat iPhones and Galaxy S versions hands down. Wait for a couple more hours and it is here.
