Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB India Price Cut Makes It More Attractive
Xiaomi seems to be under pressure in recent weeks. This is the reason that it is slashing price of its handsets that already looked cheap when they were launched last year. But within a matter of months other smartphone makers have caught up with it and have gone on to offer exciting products at the same or even cheaper price, putting the Chinese smartphone maker under intense pressure.
This is the reason that the company is cutting price of almost all of its handsets in quick succession.
It was merely a few weeks ago that the company that took India by storm last year cut the price of 64GB variant of the Mi 4 in India to Rs. 17,999. But given the fact that there are many more attractive choices in the mid range smartphones, the company has decided to make the price cut permanent. Now the company has confirmed that the new price is here to stay.
When the handset was introduced in India it came for as much as Rs. 23,999 and even at that price it was thought to be very affordable for the sort of specs it came with. But it was not long after the launch that the company gave the first price cut. It was in April this year when Xiaomi India slashed its price to Rs. 21,999, and then it was cut to Rs 19,999. Now the handset has been priced at Rs 17,999.
The handset still looks very attractive to many people. The handset runs on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz alongside 3GB of RAM. It comes with 5-inch full-HD display (1080×1920 pixels) with JDI OGS full lamination display, 13-megapixel back camera and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the handsets come with Sony’s stacked CMOS sensors. When it comes to battery it comes to battery the handset has a juicy 3080mAh Li-ion battery. The Mi 4 also comes in 16GB storage capacity, which is now available at a price of Rs. 14,999.
