Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB adopts open sale model, going viral now
64 GB Xiaomi Mi 4 is also going to be released from the usual routine of registration and flash sale that has been the case of other Xiaomi handset. This may have dual meaning. One may claim that the excitement about its handset is waning in the Indian market or may be the company is producing more handsets than before keeping in mind the high demand from the Indian market.
There may be reason to believe the first argument too. There are many very enticing handsets available for the Indian smartphone mavens. This includes above all OnePlus One, a handset that ebats Xiaomi’s Mi 4 in many aspects and still it is cheaper than it. And to be true the other argument may also be true given the fact that the Xiaomi is working hard to satisfy the ever increasing demands from the Indian consumers.
This is not the first handset that has been taken out of the grind of flash sales and registration. 16GB model is also going to be freed from flash sales beginning today. What’s more, this isn’t going to be a one-day event as the handset will most likely stick to the new strategy where the need for registering doesn’t arise.
This leaves the flash sale and registration to only Redmi 2 smartphone. Given the fact that the phone is new in the market, it could take a few weeks before the same approach is used for it also. Apart from this, the company is slowly transitioning to offline sales too.
