Xbox live seems to be giving tough time to its users who have faced similar issue earlier this month. So it is the second time in less than a month when the users of Xbox live have faced this issue of the outage.

This seems to be very annoying for Xbox Live users across the world. A report in the Hackread says that the Xbox Live is down for a long time and this is a major outage that may last longer than the previous outage. The last outage that the users faced was also earlier in the month of February.

To be true the outage doesn’t seem to be local in nature. Xbox Live services seem to be suffering in almost everywhere across the world. It must be kept in mind that the latest outage came hours after another similar downtime hit Xbox Live services last night. According to an update from the Xbox Live status page, currently the services that remain affected include downloading things you’ve purchased, making purchases, and doing things like viewing your balance or adding currency to your wallet.

In the meantime what should be kept in mind is the fact that wile not everyone pays for an Xbox Live Gold membership, the premium tier that gives customers access to special deals and online multiplayer, millions of people do. And these outages are a major source of frustration for anyone paying $60 a year so that Microsoft can maintain its servers.

On the other hand one of the error messages you may see when trying to boot up a digital game on Xbox One. “Some users may be experiencing delays when launching digital content,” a Microsoft spokesperson told GamesBeat. “We are working quickly to fully restore services.”

Meanwhile Xbox live in a statement said, “We understand some of you might be having a tough time signing in to Xbox Live. Additionally, we realize that some of you are experiencing issues purchasing new subscriptions or managing existing subscriptions. We want you to know our top engineers are on the case and are working toward a fix. Thanks for your patience in the meantime! We will provide an update as soon as we know more.”
