When Is The Next Republican Presidential Debate? 13th GOP Debate start time, schedule, other details
There is a sort of disarray among Republican presidential hopefuls and their supporters. The sort of division and schism that has been witnessed among the Republicans during this primary season has rarely been witnessed in the past.
GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has emerged as the most divisive figure among the Republicans. The way his acceptability is going up and gaining currency among the core GOP fans across the US seems that he is all set to bag the nomination sooner than later.
His jingoistic claims have excited far right in the GOP and have given them a false hope. Initially GOP establishment thought that the billionaire businessman will fizzle out of the race and beaten by experienced politicians like Kasich and Jeb Bush. While Bush is already out of the nomination race, Kasich is going to be out of it pretty soon.
In the given scenario, the remaining Republican presidential debates are going to play an important role in nomination. The thirteenth Utah debate will be held on March 21. It will be historic — the Beehive State has never hosted a presidential primary debate, according to a report by Fox affiliate KSTU-TV.
Details are already out. The thirteenth GOP debate will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah’s largest community at more than 191,000 residents. As of March 9, the Republican National Committee had not announced the debate venue or the broadcast partner. The debate will take place one day before a winner-take-all primary in Arizona, the caucus in Utah and a Republican convention in American Samoa. Roughly half of the delegates needed to clinch the Republican nomination will have been chosen ahead of the Salt Lake City event. RNC officials also announced a tentative New York City-hosted debate in April, if needed.
