The report quotes an expert as saying that “…likely that it is these physiological adaptations that make it so difficult to maintain weight loss. Importantly … in those who are already obese, public health messages encouraging people to eat healthy food and exercise are unlikely to have a long-term impact on their weight.”

There are many experts who are advocating that the government start funding bariatric surgery to keep people away from a disease that is spreading like wildfire. According to an expert bariatric surgery may give long-term weight loss for the obese. In this way money may be utilized in a batter way.
