Bangladesh cricket team seems to have been given a massive jolt. It is to be seen if the team will be able to confront the shock and come out with flying colors. The team is facing one of the best cricket sides in the tournament today in the form of Australia and has been forced to play without its two of the best bowlers.

International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to suddenly ban Bangladesh bowlers Arafat Sunny and Taskin Ahmed. Both have been doing exceptionally well in the last few series and with them being banned the team will have to make do with part timers.

The two have been banned from bowling by the International Cricket Council and they will not be able to play for their side in the World Twenty20. Sunny, a left-arm spinner, and Taskin, a paceman were reported for suspected illegal actions after Bangladesh’s first match of the tournament and independent testing in Chennai has judged against the bowlers. Both players have played four matches in India and helped the Tigers qualify for the Super 10 stage.
Both the teams are coming into the match after losing one match each. Bangladesh, after dominating their qualifying group, were blown away by a seemingly rejuvenated Pakistan team in their T20 World Cup opener, losing by 55 runs. On the other hand Australia made their 2016 T20 World Cup debut against regional rival New Zealand, but came away stunned as they could not chase down a total of 143 to lose by eight runs.

The Australian team may be great when it comes to ODI and test, but when it comes to T20 format, the team rarely shows its true colors. And right now in the group 2, no team has remained undefeated except the New Zealand side that has beaten the hosts India and Australia.

The Bangla team must be ruing the fact that they are playing without their star fast bowling prodigy, 20-year-old Mustafizur Rahman, who remains out of action with a side strain that has sidelined the burgeoning international star since the final group stage match of the Asia Cup on March 2. Now with the ban on Taskin and Arafat Sunny, they are without their other trust worthy bowlers.
