Vyapam scam update: Kejriwal offers permanent govt. job to journalist’s sister
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who was once an anti-corruption crusader has offered a job to the sister of a journalist who died while covering the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.
The scam has created ripples across the country and there are reasons that many heads are going to roll in the days to come.
Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Admi Party supremo Kejriwal reportedly made the offer when he and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia met the family of deceased journalist Akshay Singh of Aaj Tak news channel at their residence. Kejriwal offered a government job to Akshay Singh’s sister, a family member told IANS. “The chief minister has also promised all financial help to us.”
Delhi deputy CM while talking to the media said, “We offered to help the family financially as well.” The Delhi-based Akshay Singh died mysteriously on July 4 while covering the story of the Vyapam recruitment scandal.
