Trump’s Muslim ban protests bring millions of people on streets – Images

Washington DC: President Donald Trump’s ban on Muslim refugees from seven Muslim nations has caused widespread resentment across the US. People have been protesting across the US, asking Trump administration to revoke the ban and allow the refugees from these nations like everywhere else.

Meanwhile Trump’s White House chief of staff has not just justified the ban but also said that the US may try to widen the ambit of the ban. He hinted that Donald Trump administration may include Pakistan too in the ban, though he refused to elaborate as to when it will happen.muslim ban protest2

White House chief of staff, Reince Priebus, tried to justify the ban saying, “This is not a Muslim ban…All this is identifying the seven countries — and the reason we chose those seven countries is those were the seven countries that both the Congress and the Obama administration identified as being the seven countries that were most identifiable with dangerous terrorism taking place in their country.”

The opposition to the ban is building into a civil movement across the US. Reports suggest that lawyers can be seen manning tables at New York’s Kennedy Airport and at other places, offering help to families with detained relatives.
