Tourists died in a road accident

    Shimla: Smt. Prabha Rau, Governor and Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister have condoled the death of four tourists who died in a road accident at Dolhunalah, 18 Kms from Kullu today and expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
    The ill-fated bus No- P.B-23 C-6587 was on its way from Puna to Kullu-Manali for an educational tour. According to information reached at the State Headquarters 4 persons died and 25 persons were injured in the accident. The injured were admitted in Regional Hospital, Kullu.
    Governor in her condolence message has prayed the almighty to give peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery to injured and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
    Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal in his condolence message he prayed to Almighty to grant peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. He wished speedy recovery of the one injured in the accident and rushed to PGI, Chandigarh for treatment.
    Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner, Kullu who rushed to the spot of accident alongwith rescue and relief team, to release ex-gratia grant as per the Relief Manual of the State Government to the next of the kins of the deceased besides providing medical and other facilities to the injured.
    The district administration has released Rs. 10,000 each to the next of the kins of the deceased and Rs. 78,000 to the injured as immediate relief.
