‘The jinx’ jinxed: Did Robert Durst of HBO documentary really ‘kill them all’?

Robert Durst has finally been caught. A latest TMZ report suggests that Robert Durst has been taken into custody for his alleged involvement in at least 3 murders. One of the three murders was actually profiled on ‘The Jinx’.

The TMZ report claims that Robert Durst was actually arrested by law enforcement agencies in New Orleans Saturday for allegedly taking the life of his close friend, Susan Berman. Police, according to reports believe, that he killed Berman due to the fact that she might be aware of mysteries behind the mysterious death of his wife Kathleen some three decades ago. Official records indicate that Kathleen actually disappeared in the year 1982.

Some five years have already passed since the murder of Susan. She was killed in the year 2000 and the killing took a mysterious turn as merely two days after her death LAPD officials found a letter telling them where Susan’s body could be found. After around five years, police officials believe that they have enough evidence to link the letter to Durst.

DURSTIt seems that the HBO show ‘The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst’ proved the final nail in his coffin as the LAPD reopened it after almost forgetting about it as officials thought that he might have got away with his crime.

This is not the first time that he is under investigation for murder(s). A TMZ report says, “He was tried for the murder of a Texas neighbor in 2001, but he was acquitted after claiming self-defense”. A CNN report says that Durst’s lawyer Chip Lewis confirmed the warrant and arrest are related to the 2000 slaying of longtime Durst friend and crime writer Susan Berman. The New York real estate mogul was charged in 2003 in the murder and dismemberment of a 71-year-old neighbor in Galveston, Texas.
