Mumbai, Oct 16 (IANS) Tata Motors here Tuesday launched its next generation Tata Manza Club Class sedan, with a heavy dose of luxuries in both petrol and diesel versions.
Available in six colours, the petrol version gives a mileage of 13.7 kmpl, while the diesel version give 21.02 kmpl.
Some of the noteworthy features in the new car include collapsible steering column, anti-lock braking system, dual front airbags, fully automatic air conditioning, first-in-class touch-screen multi-media navigation, in-built GPS and segment redefining exterior styling with Infinity Contrast Roof, according to Tata Motors managing director Karl Slym.
“Customer centricity is the hallmark of Tata Motors. With the Tata Manza Club Class, we are once again the first to introduce features never seen in its class,” Slym said at the launch.
“The Tata Motors Club Class offers an intelligent combination of style and pleasure of motoring with the traditional needs of space and comfort,” said Ranjit Yadav, president of Tata Motors’ passenger car business unit.
Powered with the internationally-acclaimed 90 PS Quadrajet diesel and Safire petrol engines, the vehicle prices start at Rs.6.49 lakh and Rs.5.70 lakh respectively, ex-showroom, New Delhi.
The country’s largest automobile company, with consolidated revenues of Rs.165,654 crore (over $31 billion) in 2011-12, Tata Motors has subsidiaries and associates in Britain, South Korea, Thailand, Spain and South Africa.
