Summer University conducted at AMU
ALIGARH: The Office of Alumni Affairs, Aligarh Muslim University organized the Summer University 2015, which was supported by Prof. Asadullah Khan of Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit, AMU.
Maj. Gen. (Prof.) G. G. Dwivedi, Chairman, Alumni Affairs Committee said that a large number of students from various faculties and research scholars attended the Summer University programmes. He appreciated the role of AMU alumni who made laudable contribution in successful conduct of the summer programme.
Under this novel programme, several lectures, workshops and interactive sessions were held on various topics. While Prof. Diwvedi spoke on â€œOptimization of Potential: To Build a Great Careerâ€, Dr. James Chang, an alumnus of Harvard Law School, delivered a lecture on â€œCorporate Law and Private Equitiesâ€.
Two workshops on scientific communication were conducted by Dr. Shahid Jameel, CEO of Welcome Trust. An Info-session on â€œResearch and Study in Germanyâ€ was organized by German Exchange Academic Service.
