Spice is working hard to improve its profile and product base in India. And besides Spice, there is another group that is going to benefit from it, consumers. With the launch of budget smartphones and tablets, tech mavens in the country will have more choice than ever before to choose from an array of vast products in both the categories.

Spice smart Flo Pace2 Mi 502 smartphone is sure to attract many people in the country who want to opt for their first smart-phone ever. Mind you, in the country with 1.2 billion people, ninety-three percent of all smartphones sold in the market are feature phones and only seven percent are smart-phones. So there is a huge market to be tapped across the country and economic handsets like Spice smart Flo Pace2 Mi 502 are going to improve their penetration in India. To be true, for a price of Rs 6,999, the handset comes with many enticing features to make it a real hit in the market.

Reports suggest that Spice smart Flo Pace2 Mi 502 is believed to be the company’s answer to recently launched Micromax Canvas 3D A115. The  dual SIM phone, the latest offering from Spice, comes with a combo pack of free leather case and screen guard and  worth Rs 500, sports a 5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) capacitive touch screen and a 5 megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash and 1.3 MP front camera.  Further Smart Flo Pace 2 Mi-502, which is merely 9.6 mm in width, runs on Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and is powered by a 1GHz Dual Core Processor and 512MB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The device comes preloaded with popular apps such as Hoopz, Nimbuzz and WhatsApp.

But there is one issue that may put the handset behind its other competitors. It is not 3G compatible. Nonetheless it has varied connectivity options including EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB and proximity sensor. The device is backed by a 2100mAh battery which gives a talk-time of more than 5 hours and a standby time of up to 280 hours.  Speaking about the Smart Flo Pace 2 Mi-502,, on its grand launch , CEO – Devices, S Mobility Ltd said T M Ramakrishnan, CEO – Devices, S Mobility Ltd said; “With the launch of Smart Flo Pace 2, we seek to offer better and advanced features at a competitive pricing. The handset is already available on internet retailing sites. Besides the handset can be bought from any major retail stores and outlets across India.  With the latest addition, it appears that Spice is on a spree to launch new products. It had recently launched the successor to its Stellar Pinnacle Mi 530 smartphone, the Pinnacle Pro Mi 535, offering a quad-core processor. The Spice Smart Flo Pace 2 Mi-502 is standing against other budget Android phones like the Micromax Canvas Viva A72 and the Swipe Fablet F2,  launched recently.
