Sochi 2014 Olympics medal count see Canada advance as USA slips to 5th spot. Meanwhile Shaun White flops and ends up 4th Facing His Biggest Snowboarding Test at 2014 Winter Olympics

Shaun White is no novice. He is well-known snowboarders. Before landing in Sochi he has scooped gold medals twice in the Winter Olympics. Will he win again? This and other questions are being debated by experts and athletes.

As the countdown to the competition begins all eyes are on him. White, who has expressed his unhappiness over the halfpipe at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park where the game is being unfolded, is on his way to create history if he wins gold once again. It will be a feat that no other athlete before him has accomplished. And the Americans too will celebrate the moment like anything.

With many medals in his belt, White has all the ability and talent to get his name in history books. He knows how to go about. And everybody is waiting from athletes to his fans in his hometown San Diego. It is expected that he may even get a call from White House once he achieves the feat. But the 27-year-old White, who is bracketed with great athletes like Apolo Anton Ohno in the new-age Winter Olympics that started in the ‘90s, has some issues too. In 2012 he was arrested for being drunk and disorderly in Nashville. And before coming to Russia had injury issues. But now nobody is talking about these things. The only thing his fans want is that White wins the medal for the third time.
