Serena Williams beats Garbine Muguruza in Wimbledon 2015 women’s final: Scores and latest highlights
She is without doubt the best athlete in the world at the moment. The way she has played not just in the Wimbledon 2015, but in the year 2015 proves her complete dominance if the world tennis.
No other player can actually claim to be even close to her. Even among men’s tennis we dont see such a towering feagure. The best thing is the fact no one is ashamed when beaten by her.
She dispatched Muguruza off the tournanent without much of a trouble. Serena Williams claimed a sixth Wimbledon title and fourth successive grand slam crown by suppressing the spirited attacking instincts of 20th-seeded Spaniard Garbine Muguruza to win the final 6-4 6-4.
There is no denying the fact that she was overwhelming favorite to win against a player who is 12 years her junior.
The world number one was simply too powerful and too consistent for surprise 21-year-old finalist Muguruza, who began with a valiant positive approach but could not maintain her early high level.
Nonetheless beginning was not so great. Serena looked in trouble in the opening set, trailing Muguruza 4-2 before bouncing back to win it.
