Scepticism over rising temperatures? 5°C increase expected in temperature
The world is all set to become very hot in the coming decades if policymakers fail to stop the fast increase in carbon emission and greenhouse gases.
Researchers are of the opinion that after slowing down a bit in the last two decades, climate change is getting ready to rapidly speed up – attaining peak in the year 2040. Researchers are of the view that the temperature may go up by as much as 5°C due to global warming caused by runaway increase in the carbon emission.
The latest study is going to make things very understandable as far as the impact climate shift is going to make on earth. Professor Matthew England, the lead author of the study who is associated with UNSW Scientia says, “This shows that the slowdown in global warming has no bearing on long-term projections – it is simply due to decadal variability. Greenhouse gases will eventually overwhelm this natural fluctuation…Our research shows that while there may be short-term fluctuations in global average temperatures, long-term warming of the planet is an inevitable consequence of increasing greenhouse gas concentrations.â€
Scientists involved in the latest study claim that this is the reason that they want to see immediate reforms on global scale when it comes to greenhouse gases and the carbon footprint of human life. They are of the opinion that in the next 100 years a change on a massive scale is going to be taking place, and at this point, it’s time to buckle down and really begin making changes to prevent what damage could be done.
Many people believe that the data presented at climate change conferences are distorted due to some reasons unknown to them. Nonetheless the Global Warming Policy Foundation claims that this is a wrong notion. In the meantime this organization is working to change the way people perceive the official climate data that exists in the world. They’re enlisting a number of scientists who will work from all of the data that exists in the world to come up with a justifiable answer that can be held against criticism over time.
