Satyendra Kumar Kashyap scholarships awarded to AMU students

Aligarh: Professor Mohibullah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University today distributed the Aligarh Educational Endowment Fund (AEEF) Satyendra Kumar Kashyap scholarships to four B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) students in a function held at the AMU Alumni affairs Committee.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Mohibullah said that the existence of these scholarships shows that there is a sheer love and affection, which AMU Alumni have for this university. He pointed that these scholarships bring a lot of encouragement in the university community of students and teachers.

United States of America based Dr Shaheer Khan, who is the founder and moderator of AMU Network informed the gathering that this scholarship was instituted by AMU Alumni Ms Deepali Kashyap in remembrance of her late father Mr S K Kashyap for Mechanical Engineering students.

Dr Shaheer informed that Mr S K Kashyap was also an AMU Alumnus and was always concerned about welfare of this university.

He added that other well established AMU alumni can take inspiration from Ms Deepali and her late father to initiate more such scholarships.

US based Dr Omar Farooq, AEEF; Dr Suhail Sabir, Chairman, AMU Alumni Affairs Committee; Prof M M Sufiyan Beg, Principal, Z H College of Engineering and Technology and Prof M Faisal Saeed Beg, Chairman, Department of Mechanical Engineering also addressed the gathering.

The scholarships were awarded to Mirza Anas Beg, Harsh Gupta, Asim Noor and Mayank.
