The latest and without doubt the best Android handsets are set to hit the Indian market ten days from. On March 18, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be available in the Indian market, merely weeks after being unveiled in Barcelona.

The Korean tech giant finally showcased the monster handsets Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in a glittering ceremony here in the Indian capital New Delhi.

The two handsets have been priced at Rs 48,900 and Rs 56,900 respectively.

samsunggalaxys7-edge_bigThe company has made it clear that the two handsets will go on sale beginning at sharp 12 am on March 18. If you are an early bird and pre-book the two handset(s) between March 8-17 you will be eligible to get a free Samsung Gear VR.

Though the two handsets may not be made in India, the Korean tech giant claims that the phones are “made for India” and reminded that they have been chosen as the most reliable brand by Indians according to a survey last week. Reiterating that the Galaxy S7 phones are made from India, Samsung talked about the seven innovations that make it the ideal device for Indian customers.
A great aspect of the two handsets is the fact that Samsung waterproofed and dustproofed the S7 phones by sealing it from the inside, making them match IP68 standards. The camera focuses on low light photography with 30% bigger pixels than an iPhone 6s Plus and a wider F1.7 aperture to capture more light. The camera also supports dual pixel technology that works like the human eye for faster focus.
