Invites have started landing across the tech circles for Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge launch event in India. The handset that was showcased a few weeks ago by the tech giant during the Mobile World Congress 2015 is going to be launched here in the Indian market on March 23,

But you will have to wait for a couple of more weeks before it will be up for orders. Both the models will be available in the Indian market beginning April.

The launch of the two versions from the Korean tech giants has actually enthused Android fans across the world. Many analysts are of the view that after a very long time the Korean smartphne maker has come out with something really stunning. They say that the handsets look game changers and will challenge the runaway success of Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

They are unanimous that the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are by far the best smartphones Samsung has ever made. Both the handsets come with impeccable specs, though some people will be feeling let down by the fact that the battery in the handset is fixed and cannot be taken out like the iPhone 6. Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLOED display with 2560 X 1440 resolution, translating into 577ppi. S6 Edge comes equipped with 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED. It is dual edge display. The two handsets come with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. They have Samsung’s Exynos 7 Octa-core processor with two quad-core processor clocked at 2.1 GHz and 1.5GHz respectively and 3GB RAM.

The two handsets on the other hand also have 14 namometer mobile processor with a 64-bit platform, new LPDDR4 memory system and UFS 2.0 flash memory. The two come with 16MP main camera in the rear and a 5MP front facing camera. As far as battery is concerned, Galaxy S6 has 2,550mAh battery, while the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a 2,600mAh battery and come with universal wireless charging. The handset run on Android 5.0.
