Samsung Galaxy S6 display beats iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus says DisplayMate Â
Samsung’s Galaxy S6 has come out as the best in all the smartphones as far as display quality is concerned. A report published by DisplayMate has made it clear and the Android world cannot celebrate enough.
The handset is definitely going to be the best Android handset till date and the whole Android world is going to be in queue when the handset is launched in the next few weeks.
It is needless to say that many people who had given up on Samsung’s flagship handsets give the way the Galaxy S5 had turned out to be, the new version is infinitely better than the last version and comes out with great incremental value.
While talking about the new handset and its display quality, the DisplayMate report seems to be very impressive indeed. “The Galaxy S6 has more than double the resolution and more than 4 times the number of pixels as the iPhone 6. It also has significantly higher peak Brightness, significantly higher Contrast Ratio in both low and high Ambient Light, significantly higher Absolute Color Accuracy, significantly better Viewing Angel performance, and has 4 selectable screen modes instead of a single fixed one on the iPhonesâ€, says the report.
The new handset seems to have become the instant favorite of Displaymate. As per DisplayMate findings of their lab testing, the Galaxy S6 is every bit a display marvel as its larger 2014 sibling, the Note 4 was. In terms of final verdict, the Galaxy S6 is now the second display ever created to score ‘Very Good to Excellent’ scores across the board in all their tests. The Galaxy S6 comes with a Quad-HD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution and 577 ppi.
