The wait is going to end today and Samsung Galaxy S4 event live coverage will begin within hours. Reports suggest that S4 Mini release is also expected during the event

Merely hours are left when the most awaited smart-phone of the year is set to be unveiled in a grand ceremony in New York City. Korean tech giant, the manufacturer of the rumored Galaxy S4 has claimed that it will be the biggest and most memorable smart-phone launch ceremony ever. There seems to be truth in the claim as Samsung’s Galaxy S4 dance troupes are rehearsing round the clock to come up with an impeccable performance that will be appreciated by people across the world.

Samsung sold more than 45 million units of Galaxy S3 and there are reasons to believe that the Korean tech giant will be introducing a handset that will be substantially improved compared to the last flagship handset of the company. Meanwhile there are also rumors that Sammy will also launch a smaller Galaxy S4, to be named Galaxy S4 Mini with the main flagship handset. This has helped make the event all the more high profile for not just Sammy but also for its millions and millions of fans across the world.

Not many people were excited with Galaxy S4 mini’s launch. Samsung’s Galaxy S3 Mini was introduced in the market long after the introduction of the Galaxy S3, its flagship handset right now. But if rumors are t be believed, Sammy is all set to introduce Galaxy S IV mini even prior to the introduction of its forthcoming flagship handset. Leaks coming out of the Korean tech giant suggest that the new handset from the biggest manufacturer of smart-phones in the world will be launched during the Mobile world Congress (MWC) 2013.

In the meantime Galaxy S4 will come with major improvement over S3. Meanwhile there are not much details available about the specs or features of Galaxy S4 Mini, but there are reports that Sammy is set to introduce three handsets including the Galaxy S4Mini. A SamMobile report says, “The Project J line by Samsung is based on 3 devices where just 2 are confirmed and one still needs to get decided! The other 2 devices by Samsung is the Project J Mini which uses the codename Serrano. The Poject J mini Serrano simple hints to the Galaxy S IV mini”.

The handset is set to be impeccably made and will be a big threat to other companies’ flagship handsets to be introduced in the market in the next few months.

Reports suggest that forthcoming Galaxy S4 is set to come with considerable improvements over the existing version. As far as its display is concerned, Samsung is most likely to slot in a 5-inch 1080p display on its next flagship Android phone. Therefore, Galaxy S4 is likely to have a FullHD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at a massive 441-ppi. The multitouch screen is protected against scratches in help of Corning’s Gorilla Glass 2 technology. The new Galaxy S phone will also show off a great processor. Most likely, it will be an ARM Cortex A15 processor with Samsung’s new Exynos 5450 Quad quad-core chip and 2GB RAM. Things are really very exciting right now and the level of anticipation is very high.
