Finally after weeks of wait, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update has been launched. It comes after dual SIM release of the phablet in China

This must be a great news for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 users. Galaxy Note 2 LTE Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update seems to be on its way and should be released pretty soon. Both Samsung and Google are trying to expedite the release of 4.1.2 Jelly Bean updates for top Android handsets in the market. Many people have been awaiting its update on Samsung’s latest phablet for weeks and were really feeling disappointed when they didn’t really heard anything about it.

To be true, when Galaxy Note, the 5.5 inch phablet was introduced in the market a few weeks ago, Android Jelly Bean was part of it, but Note 2 users were still anxiously awaiting the introduction of a later firmware update from Google.

Despite many people writing off the latest phablet from Korean company, this is doing a brisk business in the market and according to Samsung’s estimates as many as five million handsets were sold off within the first month after its launch. But a report in Android Authority says that the top phablet that comes with best specs will not make the jump directly from Android 4.1.1 to Android 4.2. Instead, an Android 4.1.2 update is also in the works. So Samsung phablet’s fans will have to wait sometimes before it lands on their huge handsets.

Galaxy Note 2 has remained in limelight for a very long time. Samsung recently launched a dual-SIM variant of Samsung’s flagship Android phablet the Galaxy Note II. The device, dubbed the GT-N7102, offers GSM/HSDPA support on both the SIM cards. The N7102 is virtually the same handset with identical specs and features. It sports a 5.5-in Super AMOLED HD screen and 1.6GHz quad core processor. But, the difference is only that it sports dual SIM slots; one mini SIM slot and one MicroSIM slot.
