Rizvi again wins ‘dressage show’

Aligarh, May 5: Asim Rizvi, Aligarh Muslim University’s Phd in Biochemistry student, who is on an exchange programme to attend MEd in Science Education from the Ohio State University recently, again won a first, a second and a third place at a ‘dressage show’ organized by the Mid Ohio Dressage Association in the United States.

Rizvi, who holds the position of AMU Riding Club’s Section Commander, is an excellent equestrian training at MacMeadow Farms with Jodie McKenzie who has helped Rizvi hone up his riding skills. Rizvi rides Jodie McKenzie’s white Selle Francais gelding, Angus.

Earlier, after winning the first ever ‘dressage show’ abroad for AMU, Rizvi brought laurels to the University. With Rizvi’s latest wins, the total international ribbon tally for AMU is now, two first places, two second places and one third place. He will be competing for another ‘dressage show’ on May 16-17.
