RIM BlackBerry10, 1080p FHD handsets, USA made and 4G LTE everywhere are among top tech trends of the year 2013

The tech market has gone through a lot of changes recently. We have a worthy set of new products and trends in market today. The year 2012 brought in many praiseworthy developments. The market has received loads of advanced Android phones, tablets, Windows Phone 8, Windows 8, Apple iPhone 5 and more in the year. It also kicked off many trends in tech market that mainly include Microsoft’s foray into the tablet market with a tablet-friendly Windows 8 and its ARM variant the Windows RT.

Here we make a look into the five major tech trends expected for 2013. The New Year has already emerged in. The tech market is much frenzy about the upcoming trade shows – the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. These trade events will bring out a huge collection of new products and trends. Here are the possible five tech trends for 2013.

1080p FHD Handsets
The phone market is about to accept a revolutionary display technology. It is the new 1080p FullHD display. Already many devices have come out of cover with the new high clarity displays. Devices like HTC DROID DNA, J Butterfly, Oppo Find 5 and Sharp Aquos Phone have already landed in various parts of the world. The Find 5 and DROID DNA for Verizon are the two major handsets available in the United States, as of now.

Early next year we will see the release of a horde of similar handsets. Of course, the market will get FHD handsets from Sony, Samsung, LG, ZTE, Huawei and many other companies. Sony’s Xperia Yuga (a.k.a. Xperia Z), Samsung’s Galaxy S IV, ZTE’s Grand S and Huawei Ascend D2 are the devices expected for early next year releases. Most of them will be on display either at the CES or MWC, reports say.

RIM BlackBerry10 – Do or Die
Future of RIM’s BlackBerry will most likely be decided in 2013. The firm, after continuous failures with its BlackBerry phones, is all set to roll out its next major update the BlackBerry 10 late January. RIM will officially reveal BB10 on January 30 with a range of new features that the company claims can win over customers. But, if it fails, things won’t be much good for RIM, which will also produce a variety of brilliant handsets for BB10. Market failure of the new devices will be the beginning of RIM’s demise as a mobile vendor.

Decisive for Nokia
Similar to RIM, things are quite decisive for Nokia also. The Finnish firm now strives against its rivals in help Microsoft Windows Phone. Nokia has ended all its own operating system projects for the sake of Windows Phone thanks to an agreement between the companies. But, as per fresh reports from market, Windows Phone is not going to make a big even after the release of advanced Windows Phone 8. So the result will be that Nokia will find it hard to remain stable in market.

4G LTE Everywhere
Currently, only a few carriers like Verizon in the U.S. and EE in the U.K. offer better 4G LTE connectivity. More carriers in more countries will advance 4G LTE to many more people in 2013. It is sure that tech makers will produce lots of new 4G LTE enabled devices so that users can enjoy high speed internet on the go.

Products to be Made in the U.S.
There is a talk that many more American tech makers like Google, Apple and HP would manufacture their products in the U.S. in 2013. Recently, Google developed its unfortunate Nexus Q media streaming device and Apple made some models of its iMacs in the U.S. factories. The change would be not good for China, Taiwan and other Asian markets that have been producing handsets for the leading U.S. companies.
