Property consultant JLL India is all set to grow pretty fast in the days ahead in the country. at a time when the real estate market is looking like dormant, the company has huge plans for the Indian market.

Property consultant JLL India has presence in top eleven cities across the country and the huge plans that it has about the country is going to give it a completely national presence, making it among the biggest real estate consultants in the country.

Reports suggest that the JLL India will hire another 1000 employees this year alone, taking the headcount to as much as over 7,500.

While talking about the latest developments the JLL India Chairman and Country Head Anuj Puri says, “We will be adding more than 1,000 employees in this calendar year for our different services like consultancy, research, and facility management among others…We see aggressive growth over the next 12 months in JLL India as the Indian corporates and investment business starts to mature and grow more rapidly in India”.

He denies that the real estate market is dormant and goes on to add, “housing market is slow, but office market is expanding rapidly”. Real estate market, particularly housing segment, is facing slowdown from last few years due to higher property prices and costlier interest rates amid slow economic growth.

The cities where the company has offices at the moment include cities like Ahmedabad, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kochi, Chandigarh and Coimbatore. The company provides range of services including research, analytics, consultancy, transactions, project and development services, integrated facility management and property and asset management among others.

The company is also diversifying. JLL India, part of NYSE-listed JLL, also gives advisory services in the areas of capital markets, residential, commercial, hotels, health care, senior living and education. With annual fee revenue of USD 4.7 billion and gross revenue of USD 5.4 billion, JLL has more than 230 corporate offices, operates in 80 countries and has a global workforce of about 58,000.
