Prominent rebel figure killed in battles against Libyan army

TRIPOLI: A prominent Libyan rebel figure Mohammad Al-Oraibi, known as “BOCA”, who is the commander of the Libya Shield Force II, allied with Ansar Al-Sharia militia, was killed in battles against Libyan army in Benghazi Monday.

Al-Oraibi was killed during battles that took place in Quarsha area, western Benghazi, between Benghazi Rebels’ Shura Council’s forces, an anti-government Islamic militia, and Libyan army’s Haftar forces, a source stated to KUNA under condition of anonymity.
