Posters Pasted in Himachal to support militant organization Babbar Khalsa


    Nahan: In the hilly town of the Himachal Pardesh, Unidentified people pasted posters in support of Babbar Khalsa, a militant organization near the Shiv temple Ranital late evening today, creating panic among the residents of the town.

    The posters were pasted exactly at the place where the Navyuvak Shiv Mandal burnt the effigy of the Babbar Khalsa on Wednesday. Although police is investigating the matter but sources said that one accused is identified who may possibly involved in the pasting. The posters are pasted remembering the 1984 riots by stating never forget 1984 riots. In view of the episode police is also reviewing the security arrangements in the town.  ASP Gurmeet Singh is personally was investigating the case till the late night at the spot. Sources said that probably it is to take the revenge of burring the effigy of the Babbar Khalsa on Wednesday. When contacted, Additional superintendent of Police Gurmeet Singh said that a case would be lodged but at this stage the section under which case would be lodged, could not be disclosed. Navyuvak Mandal had burnt the effigy in protest of the threat of the Babbar Khalsa to damage the temples in Himachal. The town had also gripped in the tension during the 1984 Sikh riots. The police had taken the matter seriously.
