This was one announcement that was being awaited with bated breath. Pearl Jam has finally announced the dates of its USA and Canada tour and people are simply excited about the tour of one of the most popular rock bands in North America.

But the news didn’t come as a boring announcement. The band first released a teaser on its Facebook page followed by a public announcement.

The impatience among the band’s fans for the announcement can be gauged by the fact that the teaser that Pearl Jam released on its social media site was liked by 471k people and was shared by close to ten thousand people.

Pearl Jam said that the details will be shown on the tour page of Pearl Jam’s site when they are made official. Pearl Jam is an American rock band, formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1990. Since its inception, the band’s line-up has comprised Eddie Vedder (lead vocals), Mike McCready (lead guitar), Stone Gossard (rhythm guitar) and Jeff Ament (bass). The band’s fifth member is drummer Matt Cameron.
