Patrick Kane hat trick was the only difference between Los Angeles King and Chicago Blackhawk. It was the difference of one brilliant performer or lack of it in the two teams and the best thing was the fact that the top class performance from Patrick Kane came at the best of the time, when it was needed most.

To be true there was not much of a chance for the Chicago Blackhawks against such a formidable team like Los Angeles King who have proven their worth in match after match and have shown to the world that they are among the best in the game today. But today was a proof that even the best can be beaten through astonishingly great performance by the opposite side. It also proves that in a game despite one side possessing the best of talent can always be beaten if the opposite side beats it in consistency and the hard work on one particular day.

And truly the difference between the two sides in the game yesterday was the sheer heroics of Patrick Kane and no one else. This should also be acknowledged that he got great support from his team members throughout this very tough match.

Kane has amazed with his great work and consistency in the last few years. He has worked tirelessly and has improved his game in every game. A report while talking about him says, “He nailed the second goal of the game early in the first period when he picked up a loose puck and patiently waited for his opening to develop before wristing the puck into the top of the net…Then Kane appeared to give the Blackhawks the series when he scored with less than four minutes to go, taking a pass from Bickell and snapping it past Jonathan Quick. Bickell appeared to trip Justin Williams of the Kings before sending it to Kane, but there was no penalty call and the goal counted”.

This was very tough match, there is no doubt about it. And keeping your mind functioning flawlessly in such a high stake game is almost impossible. But Kane kept his cool and worked tirelessly. Chicago Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane was so excited that words or for that matter coherent sentences were sort of difficult to come. “Right now I think it’s almost like I’m in a different zone, like in the Twilight Zone or something…I’m kind of out of it. It’s definitely a good feeling, though”, he just managed to say after the exciting and favorable end to the match. He was mobbed by his friends who were pulling from all the four sides. It was a great seen that is seen only when unexpected things happen.

The finals are going to be very tough for the Chicago BlackHawks. The team is going to host the Eastern champion Boston Bruins in Game 1 of the best-of-seven championship series three days from now. So far Boston have been unbeaten in the tournament so things will be very enticing in the days to come.
