Parents seeking urban lifestyles demand more schools, parks for kids in downtowns

More and more parents are trying to live in downtown instead of suburbs as they used to live till very recently. Parents are working hard to give their kids an urban upbringing  and urban lifestyle than quite suburban life.

Though the number of such people is not really huge, but studies suggest that the number of such people is going up pretty fast.

There is no denying the fact that suburban lifestyle is more healthy and allows kids to have a healthy lifestyle. It must be kept in mind that suburban lifestyle actually gives you an escape from the work and stresses of the big city, while still allowing relative proximity to other people and necessities. Another plus point of the suburban lifestyle is relatively less traffic congestion and crowding, as well as a lower crime rate. It is needless to say that suburbanites often find a higher quality of life than what is available elsewhere, especially in downtown. los angeles

Now the change in lifestyle is making some people to prefer downtown houses as they want to shorten commutes or be within striking distance of restaurants, museums and other attractions. There is no denying the fact that this way people are actually making cities to be more welcoming of families.

This is also necessitating higher number of schools in downtown areas compared to pasts. From Seattle to Minneapolis and Denver people are asking for new downtown schools, more bike paths and open spaces, besides of course better and more affordable housing.
