Paonta Congress holds procession against CPS Sukh Ram

Nahan:  The Paonta Sahib units of Congress today hold a procession against the CPS Sukh Ram Chaudhary for alleged grabbing of the tube wall subsidy on his personnel name about 45 Km’s away from here. The activists of the congress also attempted to burn the effigy of thee CPS which was prevented by the local police.

Meanwhile Congress claimed that the Police tried to prevent the burring of the effigy but the party workers were succeeded in burring the effigy of CPS over his direct involvement of subsidy grabbing case.  The congress had a walk out from the state assembly recently on the issue with the plea that the state government was trying to safeguard the CPS and Paonta sahib MLA on Monday. The party workers also submitted a memorandum to state government through local SDM Manmohan Sharma for immediate removal of the CPS from his portfolio in the government so that tempering in record could be avoided. The member of PCC Aninder Singh “Nauti” said that CPS and BJP leader Sukh Ram Chaudhary availed agriculture subsidy
of 5.5 lakhs by pressurizing the concerned department and further said that Congress produced the relevant documents before the government but despite this government was adamant to take an action against the CPS.

On this issue related to corruption charges against the CPS the Paonta sahib congress have suddenly turned united, otherwise the camp of the congress is divided in three groups. The division of the congress had given the advantage to BJP MLA Sukh Ram Chaudhary in winning the assembly seat twice. On Friday the supporters of every camp of congress were seen shouting slogans against the CPS.
