This is going to be very disappointing for his fans. But Pacman vs Timothy Bradley next fight shows that Manny Pacquiao earns half of what Floyd Mayweather Jr earns. The gap may be still higher.

Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley fight is going to be more than sold out fight. There is no denying the fact that Top Rank is going to make huge amount of money. Manny Pacquiao will earn at least $20 million and may end up earning doubt this amount on the strength of good ppv sales for the fight.

But to be true this amount pales in comparison of what Floyd Mayweather Jr makes in his fight. From his last fight against Alvarez he earned as much as $100 million leaving all his opponents including Manny Pacquiao far behind. Though Manny Pacquiao may still be the second highest earner in the world of boxing after Floyd Mayweather Jr, nonetheless the gap between the earning potential of the two is simply huge. I am sure Manny fans are not going to be very happy with me talking about this aspect of the two boxers’ popularity nonetheless this is an undisputed fact and we should accept it.

In the meantime there is no clear word as to when or whether Mayweather vs Pacman fight will happen. While Floyd Mayweather hasn’t clearly said as to whom he is fighting in May this year, his bête noir in the boxing world Manny Pacquiao has announced that he is fighting none other than his worst opponent Timothy Bradley as early as April this year. Though the Timothy Bradley vs Manny Pacquiao can never be as exciting fight as Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao, nonetheless it must be among the most attractive fights for the boxing fans and they will be heading in their thousands to MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 12.

There is no doubt that the boxing fans are going to have their hands full in coming months. So merely two and half months are left for the fight and the fact that it is going to be very tough fight as no one will actually want to lose it. But there is no denying the fact that Manny Pacquiao will come very strongly in this fight as he will try to win back his rightful belt that was illegally taken from him by the judges who had supervised the fight in 2013. Both the fighters are among the best in the world at the moment and have proved their worth time and again. The most interesting aspect of the Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley fight is the fact that the two super boxers were involved in a controversial fight in the year 2012. Bradley was pronounced the winner of the fight even though he had clearly lost the fight by a wide margin. There is no denying the fact that it was the stupidest decisions in the entire history of the sport called boxing.

There is no gainsaying the fact that for the Filipino who also happens to be a member of Philippine national Congress, this will be a chance to regain his credibility. Manny will be coming out for the fight as a hurt loin he will be fighting for his price. Now Manny Pacquiao will have an opportunity to win back his belt that was illegally taken from him by judges who had clearly blind folded their eyes for some reasons or the other. Reports suggest that the details of the fight were finalized when Bradley finally agreed to the terms and condition of the fight. Reports suggest that Top Rank honcho in chief Todd duBoef after the fight was finalised said that company “has a long-term relationship with Tim regardless of whether he wins or loses”. The fight is scheduled to take place as early as April 12 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

But the challenger seems to be still pretty sure about his chances in the fight against Manny. Timothy Bradley on the other hand is still sort of sure that he can beat the champion in his next fight. But Bradley seems to be still smarting from his undeserving win over one of the best fighters of the decade. Just before the deal was finalised he said, “We both have a lot we need to get off of our chests…There are still a lot of questions that need to be asked and answered. People wonder about me being the best and fighting the best. Pacquiao needs to show he still has it by fighting and beating one of the best in the game. This is an opportunity to seal the deal in everyone’s eyes for both of us”. I am sure he is going to bite the dust and the belt is going back to its rightful owner.  Pacquiao will make at least $20 million while Bradley will make $6 million. So the boxing is going to emerge the winner.
