Nokia Lumia 920’s USA release has been a huge success for the Finnish company. AT&T, Amazon and Walmart have run out the handset

Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone Lumia 920 is getting big response in the U.S. Its carrier AT&T has already sold out all units of the device in every color. Some white models of the 920 are available with the major retailers, however. Demand for the premium Windows Phone 8 in Australia and U.K. is also much bigger than the supply, market reports say.

Well, Nokia has done well with the Lumia 920. Huge response toward the handset indicates its popularity. It further tells that many people have decided to test the strength of a nice Windows Phone 8 device. Maybe, it will result in a good turnover for both Nokia and Microsoft, which respectively look ahead to set their feet in mobile making and software development.

Nokia Lumia 920; Availability
Nokia has just taken its top Windows Phone 8 handset into the market. In the U.S., AT&T has been selling this device with contract for $99. Major retailers like Amazon and Walmart also feature the handset for around $500 for unlocked version. Since its release, there has been a huge response toward the phone.

AT&T sold out all units in just a few days. Now, as per reports, the retailers have only some white models of the handset. All others – black, cyan, red and yellow- are already sold out. It is notable that people have mainly gone behind untraditional colors and it shows Nokia’s experiment of going with different colors is a big success.

“Red, Yellow and Cyan Lumia 920 have been tough to keep in stock at Amazon and Walmart and sold out soon. Till now they were available at AT&T website. But, on checking now all three colors are sold out at AT&T as well,” writes NokiaPowerUser.com.
