CHICAGO: The Game 5 of Stanley Cup 2015 will not be played in Chicago. It will go to Tampa Bay. But Chicago Blackhawks fans can breathe easy. Their team was able to prove once again that it comes with never-say-die spirit by winning the fourth final of the series.

There is no denying the fact that the team has actually done justice with the game itself. Fans would have felt disappointed had Tampa Bay won the match and took a commanding 3-1 lead over Chicago.

The series would have lost much of its sheen in this scenario. But thankfully Chicago Blackhawks didn’t allow it to happen and came out with exceptional game to win the fourth match, thus leveling the series.

Chicago BlackhawksThere is no denying the fact that Blackhawks have made successful comebacks even from worse scenarios. It was in the year 2013 when the team despite trailing 3-1 in the series was able to make a comeback and eventually win the tournament to the extreme amazement of the sports enthusiasts.

Many people are claiming that the win that came Chicago Blackhawks way last night was largely thanks to stellar show by their goalie Corey Crawford who stood his ground despite regular attacks by Lightning.

Chicago captain Jonathan Toews while talking about him said, “We’re impressed…But we’re definitely not surprised that Crow shows up and plays the way he did.”

There is no denying the fact that he has improved his game a lot. He was benched for poor play early in the playoffs. But there was no doubt Crawford was at his best in this game, particularly during the final minute or so. Instead of falling into a deep hole, the Blackhawks tied the series with Game 5 at Tampa Bay on Saturday and a guaranteed Game 6 at home on Monday.

While talking about Crow’s performance Patrick Kane said, “He stayed calm and poised in the net, nothing new that we haven’t seen from him…He’s a big part of our team. Obviously, we have a lot of confidence in him and he shows us night in and night out what he can do back there.” To be true without his great performance, the win was not possible. Crawford stopped 24 shots in the game as he made some neat stops and Tampa Bay star Steven Stamkos missed wide from point blank range.
