So this is almost confirmed that Google Nexus 5 release date in USA is set for October 31 (Google Play) and it will come with 13MP camera

Nexus 5 is going to be a reality within the next few days. Though Google is yet to speak out about its launch, there are reports that the search giant will be introducing the new handset made by LG as early as October 31. The handset coming with best specs will give tough fight to top smartphones available in the market at the moment. Like Google’s existing flagship handset Nexus 4 it will come with best specifications but with very low price tag.

Earlier there were reports that Nexus 5 will have a lower 8 mega pixel camera. But now it is more than clear that it will be coming with 13 MP snapper that came with top of the line handsets like Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and Sony’s Xperia Z and Xperia Z1. So many people who were disappointed due to the lack of an 8 mega pixel snapper are looking very excited about the arrival of the handset.

So there are almost confirmed reports that Google Nexus 5 will be available on Google Play store on October 31. Though there has been no official confirmation by Google of bringing out Nexus 5 or Android 4.4 KitKat, expected to be launched together, there has been strong rumour doing rounds of the tech world of a confirmed launch.

In the news that originated from a tech website, it was mentioned that after the October 31st launch on Google play store, Nexus 5 will make an official launch on the Canadian mobile carriers by Nov 7-8. According to the report those service provides who have been roped in for the Canadian soil include Rogers, Bell, Telus, Virgin and Koodo.

A highly anticipated Nexus 5 is believed to come loaded with high end specs and features and run the newest Android 4.4 KitKat. It is rumoured to feature a 4.95-inch full HD IPS display and under the hood would be the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It would be featuring an 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a a 1.3-megapixel front camera. It would come in 16GB and 32 GB variant and be fired by a powerful 2,300 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, Nexus 5 would feature NFC, UMTS/GSM/CDMA/LTE compatibility, Bluetooth 4.0, and slimport compatibility.

Apart from this the tech experts also believe the fifth generation phone will have a series of sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, pressure, ambient light, and proximity sensor.
