More and more rumors are appearing in the media about this great very enticing handset. You should expect Google Nexus 5 release date in Oct and specs to include 5.2 inch FHD display, Snapdragon 800 processor besides other great goodies.

There are all sorts of leaks coming out about the next generation handset from search giant Google. The latest price cut in its existing flagship handset, Google Nexus 4, has given more ammo to the rumors. Now reports suggest that the Nexus 5 launch is very close to materialize. A number of great handsets have come out in recent months and now the competition has become very stiff in the market indeed.

In the next few weeks we are going to see the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note, the new version of the highest selling phablet in the market across the world. This is set to be followed by the launch of the most awaited smartphone of the year Apple’s iPhone 5. The third handset on our list is none other than Google Nexus 5.

But there is a whole lot of confusion surrounding the handset’s manufacturing partner. Initially people said that LG that was responsible for the impressive manufacture of Nexus 4 will be tasked with the work of bringing out the Nexus 5 too. But now there are two sorts of rumors going strong.

First round of rumors suggest that Google is looking towards its subsidiary Motorola to manufacture it handset. The fact that Motorola’s latest Moto X phone has impressed many is the main reason behind this logic. The other rumor suggests that Google is looking forward to Asus to manufacture the handset for it. But till now there is no clarity on the issue and we may get the right idea when actually the handset is out in the market.

The new Nexus 5 handset is going to be substantially improved than the Nexus 4. It is also going to be bigger in size. Nexus 5 is expected to come with 5.2 inch full HD display, Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 13 mega pixel snapper.
