The Mobile World Congress is one of the world’s most exclusive tech trade fairs for phones and tablets. It is going to take place late February 2013. Fresh reports are coming up about new product releases for the event. We have already heard about devices like HTC M7, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and more. Here are a few more rumored products for the tech show. Different sources have confirmed that these products would also be on display at the event, which is to take place in Barcelona, Spain.

More Powerful Google Nexus 10: It has been quite recently that we received the large 10-inch Nexus tablet from Google. The device, made by Samsung, has an amazing 2560 x 1600 display. This high resolution is highly praised as it beats both iPad 3 and iPad 4. But, the device lacks a powerful processor. Samsung used its Exynos 5 chipset inside a dual core Cortex-A15 CPU and a Mali T604-Class graphical processor.

Many customers find the device underpowered, because of its dual core CPU and less competent graphical processor. As per rumors, Google is likely to produce a quad core version for the device. Along with the CPU upgrade, the tablet will have an 8-core T628 graphical processor. The projected tablet will have a fresh Android version and the same 2GB RAM.

Huawei Ascend W2: We have already received the Chinese tech maker’s first Windows Phone 8-based handset the Ascend W1 at CES. It is sure the Ascend W1 is an entry-level model of the company’s WP 8 lineup. At the MWC 2013, the company, as expected by analysts, is likely to roll out a higher end model for this phone. To be called the Ascend W2, the gadget will have attractive specs and features.

The Ascend W2 seems to have a mere 7.7mm thin body and a larger 4.5-inch 720p HD ultra-sensitive touchscreen. The display may even work if you touch on it with gloves on your hands. The device is expected to mount a dual core processor and 1GB RAM. 16GB of internal memory, 2,800mAh battery and an 8MP rear camera will likely be other major attributes.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2: It is speculated that Samsung is to surface an upgrade for its famous rugged Android phone the Xcover. The new device the Xcover 2, codenamed the Skomer, is said to have rich specs, indeed. As per SamMobile, the handset will come up with a 4-inch, 480 x 800 TFT WVGA display and Android Jelly Bean. A powerful 1700 mAh battery, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front facing camera and HSPA+ will be other major features. The handset will tout 4GB internal memory, plus microSD slot for memory cards up to 32GB. It will most likely be water and dust resistant and will come in two colors; Titan Gray and Black/Red.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 HD: Samsung is the first tech firm to develop an Android tablet. The company rolled out Galaxy Tab 7 with Android 2.2 Froyo in 2010 to take on iPad original. Later, the device got an upgrade in 2012 with Galaxy Tab 2 7 along with its younger brother the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1’s second upgrade. As of now, it is rumored that the Korean tech firm is likely to launch a High Definition upgrade to the device. Samsung might be planning the device as a strong rival to Google Nexus 7, Apple iPad Mini and other small screen tablets.

LG Optimus G2 or G Pro: The South Korean tech maker’s first member to the new FullHD handset scuffle is most likely to find light at WMC. The device is expected to come up with a 1.7GHz quad core display, 5-inch 1080p display and more. It will be running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Features like a 13MP camera, 4G LTE and powerful battery will be other major highlights of the LG handset.
