NDA will get a clear majority: Shanta

Dharmshala: BJP National Vice President Shanta Kumar  today asserted that the NDA will get a clear majority in the Lok Sabha polls and the party will win around 180-200 seats on its own.

The BJP will perform better than the 182 seats in 1999 and will win upto 200 seats all over the country. The NDA will get a clear majority and Lal Krishna Advani will be the next Prime Minister,” Kumar said in a press release issued here today.

”We never criticized Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on personal issues but regarding capacity, calibre and conduct. It’s not a joke to rule such a multidimensional country and Advani is a leader just right for that,” he said. ”Kuchh log kehte hain hum abhi taiyyar nahin, toh janata kabhi bhi taiyar nahin (Some people say they are not ready now, then people will be never ready for it),” Shanta Kumar  said about Rahul Gandhi’s reluctance to be the Prime Minister now without mentioning his name. ”We finished the Parliament attackers in 21 minutes. What did you do in Mumbai, Hyderabad and other incidents?,” he said, coming down heavily on the Congress for its criticism regarding the Kandahar issue. He also lashed out at the Congress for its failure on various fronts such as the economic condition, shortage of goods, inflation and other issues.
