NBA trade rumors 2016: Orlando Magic’s Channing Frye may move to Los Angeles ClippersÂ
Los Angeles: Where Channing Frye is going to move in the coming days? There are reasons to believe that he is moving to the Los Angeles Clippers and that the team is very excited to get the 6’11” power forward-center.
Channing Fray is among the top NBA players whose presence can make a lot of difference as far as Los Angeles Clippers are concerned.
For the last one and half years he is with the Orlando Magic. On July 14, 2014, he signed with the Orlando Magic to a reported four-year, $32 million contract. His first season with the Magic was disappointing on the court, as Frye averaged his lowest point and rebound totals per game since his final season in Portland.
For the last several weeks it was known that the Clippers would trade some players before the NBA trade deadline on Thursday, but majority of these talks were centered around Blake Griffin. But Doc Rivers on Tuesday surprised everyone by announcing that the team was not interested in trading their star forward. The Clippers are now set to finalize a deal to acquire Channing Frye from the Orlando Magic. If the report proves true then we can say that Magic are also getting active in trade as on Tuesday they traded Tobias Harris to the Detroit Pistons.
On the other hand other reports claimed on Tuesday that Magic were looking to trade Frye and they managed to find a suitor in the Clippers. It is expected that the Clippers might trade Lance Stephenson.
