NBA trade rumors 2016: Bull’s Joakim Noah planning to move to MavericksÂ
NBA rumors are not going to stop anytime soon. The one player about whom rumors have picked up recently is none other than Joakim Noah.
The 31-year old 6.11 feet Chicago Bulls’ player seems to be sure to leave his present side and move to another team. There are telltale signs that he is moving to Dallas Maverick.
There is no dearth of options for Noah who is a two-time NBA All-Star and won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2014
There are reports doing the rounds that the player is unhappy as the new Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg has cut his role quite significantly.
Sources close to Noah suggest that he is at a point where it seems very sensible that he would want to join a team where he could get the chance to start. Chicago Sun Times reported that the former Florida Gators star could ink an deal with the Dallas Mavericks this upcoming summer.
There are signs that the new coach of the team is in favor of a more offensive system that stretches the floor, while Noah is more of a traditional center. There is no denying the fact that Noah’s court vision is simply great and he belongs in standard half court offensive system but he does not fit in Hoiberg’s scheme of things. On the other hand, Pau Gasol is a much better option for Hoiberg. The coach prefers Gasol as his starting center. Hoiberg inserted Nikola Mirotic s the starting power forward because he could stretch the floor better than Joakim.
