The 35-year old 7 feet Gasol is among the best players in the Bulls and it is surprising that the rumors of him moving out are doing the rounds. Gasol is a five-time NBA All-Star, and a four-time All-NBA selection, twice on the second team and twice on the third team. On December 5, 2015, Gasol became the 116th player to reach 1,000 regular-season games. He had 13 points and 11 rebounds against the Charlotte Hornets for his ninth double-double of the season

nba 2015There is no denying the fact that despite his great achievements, he had some issues too. nonehteless Gasol managed to resurrect his career as the interior anchor of the Chicago Bulls last season. He averaged 18.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 blocks in 78 games played, leading to an All-Star Game appearance and an All-NBA Second Team nod. But despite the good show, it seems that Gasol’s job is still not secure.

As far as this season is concerned he has been able to make a spectacular comeback and has been instrumental in the success of his side in many wins. After leading the league in double-doubles a season ago, he’s up to 14 in 25 games with a ranking of No. 5 in rebounds per game.

But the success has come with the team’s willingness to trade him with other teams. The Chicago Sun-Times reported that Gasol’s resurgence has resulted in the Bulls taking calls from teams willing to sign the NBA star. Gasol also has a player option at the end of this season. Joakim Noah, Kirk Hinrich and Aaron Brooks are also set to come off the books when this season comes to an end. There is no denying the fact that he will have many takers if the team decides to trade him.
