Muslim University TPO (Gen) with VIEC conducts seminar on ‘Foreign Education Opportunities’

Aligarh: The Training and Placement Office, Aligarh Muslim University in collaboration with Viv’s Education Centre (VIEC), India’s leading Education consultants today organized a seminar on ‘Foreign Education Opportunities’ aimed at guiding and counseling students for higher education in International universities.

While attending the seminar as the chief guest, Dr Anis Ismail, Dean Students Welfare (DSW) said that it is a privilege to have VIEC in the university campus to guide students interested in going abroad for further studies.

Appreciating the efforts of Mr Saad Hameed, TPO (General), AMU, Dr Anis said that we are thankful to Mr Hameed for his tireless hard work and dedication towards the cause of the student community and the career development of students.

During his address at the seminar, Mr Hameed welcomed the VIEC visitors to AMU Ms Sanyukta Salwan, Mr Vinay Kumar and Mr Nitin Sharma.

Mr Hameed said that with the placement activities, the AMU TPO is trying to provide all possible opportunities to the students for their career development.

He pointed out that there is an entrepreneurship cell in the university and soon we will have a counseling cell for foreign education.

“The idea behind the seminar is to make students explore higher education opportunities in Canada, New Zeeland, Australia, UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Ireland and Dubai,” said Mr Hameed adding that the seminar will be an interactive session of students and educational consultants.

The seminar, which took place in two shifts in the main campus of AMU and the Women’s College, was attended by AMU students of various educational streams. ”The TPO (General) will now conduct a counseling workshop on ‘How to Qualify Staff Selection Commission’ on September 19, 2015 at the University Convention Centre,” informed Mr Hameed.
