They were already making profit before the film was launched in theatres. Murder 3 box office collection is a complete paisa vasool for Bahatts on day one

Murder 3 box office collection for the fast day was nothing to cheer about. But to be true, it was not bad by any yardstick. Other films including Akshay Kumar’s Special 26 have done a lot better. But the producers should thank their stars that the film managed to collect as much as Rs 4.25 core at the box office despite the absence of Emraan Hashmi, the man who is responsible for giving the sort of recognition that it has got.

Friday being a working day, the box office collection of the film look decent and in the next two days, Saturday and Sunday, the collections are going to go up substantially. For producers of the film, the collection must look more than decent also because of the fact that it is not a film that would have cost the directors a hundred crore rupees. Made with a measly budget of just Rs 5 crore, the film seems to have made some profit before even entering the cinema halls. So every penny that will come in the next couple of weeks will add to their coffers.

Murder 3 that has Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sara Loren, was launched this past Friday and opened to a 30 percent to 40 percent occupancy. Things were expected to be substantially better in the next two days, but rains and bad weather might have stopped many people from coming out and heading to theatres. In the whole north India, the weather has been rather very bad for the past three days.

The film seems to be far better than anything that was in the first two films. While it would be unfair to give away the plot, suffice it to say that if you are lucky enough to have not seen the original, this film would knock you out of your seat. The entire drama is done in the style of a chamber-piece replete with remarkably precise art decor detailing In terms of visual and emotional fluency and in connecting the supernatural content to a compelling context, “Murder 3″ moves far ahead of the first and second instalments of the franchise. Mired in a mystique that constantly unravels whispering dark secrets, the film marks an assured directorial debut for Vishesh Bhatt. So if you want to have a lighter moment, you can certainly go and enjoy the film.
