Mumbai based SPORTS GURUKUL selects 25 AMU physical education students

Aligarh: A leading Mumbai based Sports Company SPORTS GURUKUL recently selected 25 MPED and BPEd in a campus placement drive jointly organized by Department of Physical Education and Training and Placement Office (General), AMU.

These students will work as sports instructors in various schools, clubs and corporate of national and international repute on decent salaries with free accommodation.

Professor Brijbhushan Singh, Chairman, Department of Physical education welcomed the delegates of the company and thanked them for entrusting faith in the talent of AMU.

Mr Saad Hameed, TPO (General) pointed out that there is a tremendous improvement in the job placements of Physical Education students in AMU.

Mr Hameed added that this is for the first time that any company has recruited students from the Department of Physical Education in such a large number.

He added that the improvement in job placements of physical education students indicate that AMU offers talented youngsters aspiring to work in leading sports companies.

Dr Khurramnisar coordinated the campus drive and played a pivotal role in getting the students placed.

The selected students thanked the University for providing them job opportunities through campus placements. These students were also of the view that AMU is witnessing campus placements of almost every course university offers which is evident from the fact that now Department of Physical education is also having 100% placement of the job seekers which was not there in the  past.

Prof BrijBhushan Singh, Mr Hameed and Dr Khurramnisar urged the selected students to work hard and leave no stone unturned to prove their skills and services in the corporate world.
