Motorola Droid Razr release nears, to cost $299


    Motorola Mobility’s main website currently shows a timer that is set to expire at 3:00 PM Eastern Time, the very moment when Motorola Droid Razr is expected to be mae available for pre-order, or at least be made visible with specs for the costomers all around the world. It is expected to to cost $299.

    The newest Android phone is also being touted as the “faster, thinner, smarter, stronger” smartphone.

    Pre-orders for the Droid RAZR will begin from October 27 and the device will be made available in Verizon stores in November. Coming with a two-year contract, the smartphone can be had for $299.

    Talking about Motorola first smartphone with the splash-guard protection, Jha said that it “gives it extra strength without adding weight.”

    This is also being touted as the phone that will revive a product line considered dead after Android was introduced.

    Droid Razr is expected to look absolutely sleek and has all the chances of fitting in the company’s aesthetic standards and satisfying the customers’s aesthetic demands to the full.

    Besides looking good, the smartphone is to sport a 4.5-inch display running on dual-core 1.2 GHz processing power with 1 GB of RAM. It will have an 8 MP camera.

    Some optimistic spectators think it’s possible the Droid Razr could also be a flagship phone for Google’s Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, which is conveniently timed to be unveiled at around the same time.
