Mob Wives’ Angela Big Ang Dead: Cause of her death was cancer

Angela (Big Ang) Raiola has reportedly died. For the last several years she was suffering from cancer and she showcased it on her show Mob Wives last year.

Raiola was suffering from stage 4 brain and lung cancer and had to undergo surgeries on multiple occasions.

Angela who was also known as Big Ang was part of a popular reality show Mob Wives. It is a reality television series on VH1 that made its debut April 17, 2011. It follows a group of Staten Island women after their family members are arrested and imprisoned for crimes connected to the Mafia. In December 2015, VH1 announced its decision to end the series after its sixth season, which premieres on January 13, 2016.

In the meantime while making the announcement about Raiola’s death her friend Vinnie Medugno said, “She was surrounded by nothing but love from her immediate family, and closest friends”. Another source disclosed to a news website that she had been given last rites and that her family was holding vigil by her side late Wednesday.

Raiola’s friend while thanking her fans said that she “truly went out richer than any monetary value could ever amount to…YOU, (Her fans) were some of the most special people in her world, and she loved you immensely,” he said, adding that “In typical Big Ang fashion, we know she would say ‘Love you my babies!'”
