This election was the closest compared to any other in Tuesday March 15 primaries. This was true for both Republican and Democratic parties.

To be true, the results were so close that the two on the losing side, namely Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz can demand a recount. So the results that we have at the moment as far as Missouri is concerned may change if the two decide to file for a recount.

Latest updates from the Missouri Secretary of States’ suggest that Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have actually won Missouri’s primary election in closest fights seen recently.

donald trump vs marco rubioReports suggest that Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton scalped the state with 49.611 percent of the vote compared to Bernie Sanders’ 49.366 percent. The difference of votes that both the candidates got was just around 1,500 votes.

With the win in Missouri confirmed, this means that she won all the five state primaries held on March 15. Clinton won in all five states in the March 15 primary; Missouri, North Carolina, Illinois, Florida and Ohio.

On the other hand it was a great day for Donald Trump, the Republican front runner. He got as much as 40.831 percent of the vote compared to Ted Cruz’s 40.646 percent. The difference of his win was just 1,700 votes. So Cruz must be feeling supremely disappointed with the loss in Missouri.
