There are reasons to believe that Microsoft Surface Pro 5 may come with Intel Kaby Lake processor. Nonetheless there are some lingering doubts in this regard due to the fact that the Kaby Lake chip is still under development and is expected to get released in early 2017. This will indirectly delay Microsoft Surface Pro 5 release date to 2017. As far as Microsoft Surface Pro 5 price is concerned, reports suggest that the machine will come with a price tag of $899 for the Core i5 variant, $999 for the Intel Core i7 variant, and $1,599 for the i7 Extreme variant. Nonetheless it is too early to say if these rumors will be true when the machine is finally launched.
