Microsoft Surface Pro 4 finally launched in India
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 continues to hog limelight. This is a product that has established Microsoft as one of the top tablet makers. One section that is all the more excited is enterprise.
There is no denying the fact that while tablets were expected to replace laptops and become a moving workstation they had failed to accomplish this task. Now with Microsoft Surface Pro 4 this dream seems to have finally been realized.
There is no denying the fact that the Surface series had come a long way. With Windows 10, the Redmond-based firm has programmed the download and installation of software updates. Thus, the new user base will always have all the latest software update preventing another Windows XP-like scenario.
There is no denying the fact that news operating system has changed the whole dynamics of computing.
Windows 10 offers some important new features and security updates such as Windows Hello. Using Windows Hello on your Surface Pro 4, you can stop worrying about memorizing your PIN or password. Now you can unlock the Surface Pro 4 by letting the device recognize your face. In addition to Windows Hello facial recognition, users can also setup device tracking to make sure they can know the whereabouts of their device.
This is not all. The tablet looks sleek and extremely beautiful. At 11.5 by 7.93 by 0.33 inches, the Surface Pro 4 is a mere 0.03 inches thinner than the SP3, and at 1.73 pounds, just 0.03 pounds lighter. A report while talking about the display quality of the tablet says, “Look closer, and you’ll Microsoft trimmed the bezel and bumped up the display size from 12 inches and 2160×1440 pixels on the Surface Pro 3, to 12.3 inches and 2736×1824 pixels on the SP4’s display. (The additional pixels, though, were just enough that I had to bump up the text size to 175 percent, rather than the default suggestion of 150 percent.) Likewise, Microsoft gave the keys on the new Type Cover keyboard a bit more breathing room compared to the tight clump on the SP3’s Type Coverâ€.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with extremely great innards. The new tablet comes with powerful processor and lots of RAM. When it comes to innards, the new tab seem to be better endowed than many top of the line laptops. The new tab comes with up to 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. This is not the only thing. The new tablet comes with Intel’s Skylake processors are and even the least expensive model comes with M3 CPU, scaling to i5 and i7 with 515, 520 and Iris GPUs. Many analysts believe in Microsoft claim that the latest iteration of its Surface laptop is actually twice as powerful as a MacBook Air.
Despite Microsoft’s claim its battery remains the same as Surface Pro 3. Microsoft claims nine hours of battery life. But it depends the way you use it. An important difference between the two machines is operating system. The latest Surface Pro 4 is coming with Windows 10 Pro. The previous version came with either Windows 8 Home or Professional. Meanwhile when it comes to connectivity options Surface Pro 4 comes with 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (LE), full size USB 3.0 port, Mini DisplayPort and microSD card reader.
